The Slinger's Reload at level 10 will help your action economy immensely, as will feats like Running Reload and Risky Reload. Most other Gunslinger abilities you'll have spells for, but something like Black Powder Boost could be fun. Just a thing, there's a full spellshot archetype for gunslinger.

Swordmage in 4e was a defender class, and the 2e magus isn't really set up to be as tanky as a swordmage. Laughing Shadow has the 1-handed fighting style + teleporting of the swordmage, but the durability of the swordmage is kinda split between Inexorable Iron's temporary HP and Sparkling Targe's AC.Your hybrid study grants you additional spells that can enhance your power in combat.
